The man brutally beaten by police during Monday's anti-IEBC demonstration was not part of the demonstrators and is still alive.
Boniface Manono said he had just completed a job appointment with a taxi company when hell broke loose during the protest.
He is currently admitted in Coptic hospital where he is getting medical attention.
The photograph showing him being beaten senseless went viral on Tuesday causing an uproar with politicians,diplomats and NGOs condemning the brutality meted on protesters by the police.
