John Terry has signed a new one-year deal with the Blues
Terry had hired the Stamford Bridge pitch for a farewell party on Monday, May 16 but the centre back has now given a hint he will stay by cancelling those plans.
After months of speculation regarding Terry’s future at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea confirmed on Wednesday, May, 18, that the defender has put pen to paper following meetings with senior management at the club.
“ Chelsea Football Club is delighted to announce John Terry has signed a new one-year contract, ” a statement on the Chelsea website read.
