residents.
The county commissioner assured residents
that security has been beefed up with
intelligence agents on the ground monitoring
any suspicious activities.
“We want to assure residents and visitors of
adequate security. We have increased
surveillance at key points including airports
and shopping malls, at the Likoni Channel
and hotels,” Mohamed said.
Mombasa County Commissioner Maalim
Mohamed has issued terror alerts in the
coastal City.
Mohamed said a security committee will meet
stakeholders in the county.
The committee will create awareness
amongst business people on how to protect
themselves from potential attacks.

have been deployed in Mombasa to avert
terror attacks.
