Verratti has emerged as a target for
new Manchester United manager Jose
Mourinho, according to reports.
Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport say the Red
Devils are plotting a £79million bid for the
Italy and PSG midfielder's services.
Verratti has endured a disappointing few
months on a personal level. A persistent groin
issue restricted him to just two appearances
in the last three months of the season and he
underwent an operation on the problem in
May, ruling him out of Euro 2016.
PSG chiefs are keen to keep hold of the 23-
year-old and are in a strong position to do so,
with the player's contract at the Parc des
Princes running until 2020.
