Kenyans on social media have attacked a
young girl who posted semi-naked photos of
herself on social media. From what we
gathered, the form-four leaver wanted
attention. She hoped to become a socialite.
Make money like Huddah or Vera Sidika.
Unfortunately, when her photos appeared on
social media, Kenyans went wild. She was
attacked from all quarters. From the fact that
she did not have the most appealing clothes
down to the fact that the room she took
photos in, looked like it needed a fresh coat of
paint.
Let me describe the events that led to the
rather unsavory photos.
Gryce Wanjiku Brown disrobed, took photos at
her parents house and posted them online.
Her attempts at becoming a socialite were
frustrated by hundreds of Kenyans who
mauled her flimsy attempts.
A girl identified as Grace Wanjiku took photos
inside their family house in Eldoret. She was
half naked. The only item of clothing covering
what was left of her dignity was a flimsy top.
A top that didn’t look like it cost a lot of
money.
Her lower body, legs and all, were out in the
open.
On Tuesday, June 14, just a day after shooting
into infamy, she got over 100,000 searches
on Facebook. Her profile on had grown from
a handful chaps to over 7,000 friends
overnight. Big deal.
One of the viral photos that led to the
scathing attacks on her person on Monday,
June 13. Notice that we took the initiative to
dress her a little- with a rectangular block.
There is a rising trend on nude photos
postings on social media. A former slim
possible constant who we shall just identify
as Joyce has become the subject of odd
online jokes after her quite unsightly photos
leaked online,or were leaked online by a jilted
lover.
This was after a week of jokes and memes
after a Kirinyaga man leaked his sex-tape
online, claiming that he wanted to become
famous worldwide.
