launch his own custom made guitars. He made

Top Congolese entertainer Fally Ipupa
joins one of Africa’s biggest music
groups Sauti Sol to collaborate on the
upcoming Season 4 of Coke Studio
Africa. The Sauti Sol and Fally pairing is
undoubtedly the show’s most avant-
garde, set to unite music fans Africa.
Coke Studio Africa is a non-competitive
show seeking to bring together, and
showcase the diversity of
African musical talent. It also gives
upcoming artistes the opportunity to
work with some of the best local and
international music and production
talent. It brings together artistes from
different genres, eras and regions to
create a modern and
authentic African sound through musical
fusion.
The Kenyan super group Sauti Sol
exclusively revealed their enthusiasm
about the collaboration with one of
Africa’s top artistes, “We are proud to
work with Fally Ipupa. This is a
statement to our Live and Die in Afrika
motto and theme – the best of
entertainment and music can also be
made right here in Africa.” Sauti Sol
added, “This will be the best music
collaboration on the show this year –
wait and see!”
The Fally Ipupa and Sauti Sol
collaboration will be produced by
Nigerian hit-maker Masterkraft, who is
also responsible for producing Ghana’s
Efya and Uganda’s Eddy Kenzo on
Season 4.

SAUTI SOL,MI CASA SET TO DO ANOTHER SONG

South African house band Mi Casa is set to hit
the studio for another collaboration with the
award-winning Kenyan Afro-pop group Sauti Sol.
In a recent interview with Word Is, the La Vida
hit-makers said that the new collabo will be part
of its ‘Mi Casa Unlock Africa’ tour.
“We have not done a lot of collaborations, but we
are happy that one of the best collaborations
we’ve ever did was with Sauti Sol,” said the
band’s J’Something.
“It was strange how we met Sauti Sol, but we
loved the energy and the immense talent in them.
“We bumped into each other in an elevator at an
MTV Africa Music Awards after party and we
instantly created a rapport.
“We have done a collabo with Nigeria’s Wiz Kid,
Yemi Alade, Angola’s C4 and we are going to do
another one with Sauti Sol.”
The two bands first worked in the song ‘ Tulale
Fofofo’ in 2015.
