GOVT SENDS WATER TANKS TO NYANZA

According to several reports in Kenya the
government is said to have bought 10 water
cannons from China to be used to contain
rioters in the country.
The water cannons were to be sent to
Mombasa and Kisumu with each getting two
vehicles while the rest will be in Nairobi.
.Cord has said the
domos wil resume on Monday,June 5 across
the country.
The Coalition for Reforms and Democracy
(Cord) said it will continue with its Monday
protests against the IEBC after dialogue with
the government failed.
Cord wants the IEBC bosses including its
Chairman Issak Hassan removed from office
as they are incompetent.
In the last one month the opposition has held
four demonstrations against the electoral
body which have all turned violent.
In the last demonstrations held by Cord
against the IEBC, three people were killed and
more than 30 others injured after violent
protests in Kisumu, Siaya, Homa Bay and
Migori.
