IEBC disqualifies Rarieda MP candidate Augustine Adhola

BREAKING NEWS
Meanwhile, the commission has summoned 24 politicians fighting for various seats for violence and breach of itd code of conduct.
The politicians have been asked to appear before the IEBC Electoral Code of Conduct Enforcement Committee on July 6.
Those summoned are Migori Governor Okoth Obado and his rival running as independent Ochilo Ayacko
The electoral commission has disqualified Rarieda independent parliamentary candidate Augustine Netto Adhola from the August 8 race.
Mr Netto now becomes the first casualty in the long list of politicians who have breached the electoral code of conduct, receiving the last and final form of punishment from the IEBC: being barred from the race altogether.
SH250,000 FINE
Mr Netto had on June 22 been ordered, within 48 hours, to pay Sh250,00 fine to the commission and remove all posters and campaign materials bearing ODM colours and images of the ODM leader Raila Odinga, failure to which the IEBC warned that he will be disqualified.
“The Electoral Code of Conduct Enforcement Committee notes that the said Netto Adhola failed, neglected and ignored to obey any of the Orders or at all,” IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati said in a statement.
Though Mr Netto had filed an appeal at the High Court to stay the execution of the punishment, Mr Chebukati said, he had lost the case on June 30 with the court affirming the decision of the electoral agency.
“In the premises, the commission has enforced the decision of the committee of June 22, 2017 and hereby directs that Augustine Netto Adhola is disqualified from contesting in the upcoming General elections 2017,” Mr Chebukati, the chair of the committee whose members are the IEBC commissioners, said in the statement.
SH1 MILLION
Mr Netto’s case filed by ODM Rarieda parliamentary aspirant Erick Onyango was one of the seven cases filed with the committee.

THE FARCE THAT IS THE 'PANGANI 6'

Walk with me……87.4% of Kenyans are literate, by our peculiar standards that
means intelligent, right? It means majority of us have the capacity for
critical thinking, to ask the important question. The right questions, yes?
well….
In our very recent past, we Kenyans have been gravely insulted, again and
we are letting it slide, again! Select leaders, elected or democratically
imposed, took to the stage in various parts of the country to denounce
their political adversaries in public. Granted mudslinging is an
unfortunate part of politics, but when it borders on bullying other rightful citizens on basis of their ethnicity, calling on one’s ‘people’ to
prepare to rid themselves of the’ enemy’,
carelessly throwing words like
‘assassination’ around in an already politically charged environment,
that’s fattening the masses for slaughter! Government in turn, reins in
swiftly to avoid a repeat of recent violence, yet in their action lies
deception. The culprits are arrested, charged, the scales of justice tip
against them & what happens, behind closed doors they strike deals for
their release in the name of preaching peace with veils of ‘hefty’ fines
thrown over our frustrated faces! Justice
adulterated! After all, we all know what would happen if any other mere
mortal lacking such political clout attempted such suicidal utterances!
What is it, hate speech, period. It’s reckless, stupid, juvenile & quite
honestly criminal. A proven way of obliterating the ’enemy’, in a land
where the servants yield power & suffer no consequence, for they are
servants elected by us. It’s selfish, the political class advancing their
agendas by the suffering of the people ,it’s a price even the affluent
can’t afford, bleeding for greed; dying for a breed that cares less for our
wellbeing ;quite simply it’s asinine.
Now we get to the Pangani 6, our recent
hatemongers. Apparently after 48hrs
or so in the coolers they found redemption, saw the light. According to
their defense, they saw the errors of their ways, are apologetic and
willing to redeem themselves before the state and the public. We were
treated to a show of forgiving in the courts so treacherous it would easily
put Brutus stabbing of Julius Caesar to shame.
Now we are made to
understand after a few nights with cell lice, they simply changed from
genocide propagators to preaching peace? Please! Truth be told, most of
them never even suffered school detention and all of a sudden they are
faced with a grim reality; prison, with its healthy lice and ‘boot
openers’. A reality we of the ‘chapati chafua’ have come to find common
place courtesy of their power struggles, a reality the ‘bacon and cheese’
class only see glorified in their favorite TV shows, until it hits them!
Such a change of scene from scented silk sheets to infested state rugs will
convert even the coldest atheist.
People, read between the lines. These hypocrites already showed their claws
and the party hasn’t even began [read
campaigns], they are ready to go for
our jugulars, their fangs are showing, these vampires. Ask yourself, when
they set you up against your brother, will they fight with you? When your
mother, sister is being raped in the name of cleansing the land, will they
bear your pain? When your business burns, your neighbors’ life’s work is
turned to ashes,’wewe na watoto wako mtakula kwake?’As their children fly
to shop in Milan, holiday in Paris, where will yours be, dead? When the
carnage, death and your lives are eternally disrupted, what exactly do you
gain? Vanity. Do you honestly think that they will ever shelf their selfish
ambitions in the name of public service?
As they parade themselves in the name of peace, remember they are only
serving their sentence see them for the vipers they are, remember they
never have permanent friends, rather permanent interests and ever delude
yourself you factor as either, you don’t.
This brief interlude from our
great episode that is our political crisis takes me back to our original
notion, are we truly critical thinkers as we pride ourselves of being or
are we a bunch of intellectual fools as society?
Well….

RAILA,MOSES KURIA EAT TOGETHER

CORD principals led by Raila
Odinga on Tuesday hosted Jubilee politician
Moses Kuria over lunch at a popular Nairobi
restaurant.
The lunch date which also saw other
politicians accused of hate speech joining the
duo comes days after Kuria was captured in a
video making inflammatory and inciteful
remarks targeting Raila.
In the video, Kuria is said to have called for
the assassination of CORD leader Raila
Odinga.
Kuria made the remarks at the thanksgiving
ceremony of a vernacular station radio
presenter held at the Safaricom indoor
stadium, Kasarani.
The video which went viral prompted a sharp
reaction from the Opposition politicians who
demanded action against Kuria.

Addressing a press conference in Nairobi at
Raila's Capitol Hill offices, the CORD MPs
threatened to storm Inspector General of
Police Joseph Boinnet's office only later to be
arrested for the remarks.
Today’s lunch meeting is likely to diffuse
tension and promote tolerance among the
leaders and within their supporters.

RAILA ASSASSINATION PLOT STILL ON- MPS

CORD party national chairman John Mbadi and
Homa Bay town MP Peter Kaluma, on
Saturday, June 18, said that they have
received some information from people are
plotting to assassinate former Prime Minister.
Mbadi claimed said he got the information
from a section of jubilee leaders.
A plot to kill Raila is in the public domain
but we have sources who have disclosed to
us that it is for political reasons. We are
asking for the security of Raila to be beefed
up to ensure that his life is protected ,
Mbadi said.
Mbadi accused the Jubilee of detaining CORD
MPs as well as those from the ruling coalition
to divert the attention of Kenyans when plans
of killing the opposition leader are being
planned secretly.
He told the inspector general of police Joseph
Boinnet ensure Kenyans of Raila’s security is
enhanced.

Mbadi was speaking in Magunga, Suba
constituency.
Matters of security about leaders of Raila’s
calibre should not be doubted. Boinnet must
do his job by reinforcing his (Raila’s)
security detail ,” he said.
At the same time, Kaluma, during a funds
drive for Homa Bay Central SDA Church, also
claimed that the IG should handle the
assassination rumours of prominet leader with
due seriousness.
Robert Ouko, Tom Mboya, JM Kariuki and
Odhiambo Mbayi did not just die, there were
rumours. The government should investigate
these claims,” Kaluma said.

He also asked the director of criminal
investigations Ndegwa Muhoro to carry out
the investigations.
As the opposition leader, his security
should be beefed up. The death of Raila
through assassination can be very
disastrous to this country ,” Kaluma added.
Gatundu South legislator Moses Kuria was in
trouble again after his remarks about Coalition
for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) leader
Raila Odinga’s killing.
The MP made the remarks at a rally held in
Kasarani on Sunday, June 12 which led him to
be detained for three days.
However, on Friday, June 17, he was forgiven
by Raila.

CORD POSTPONES MACHAKOS PRAYER RALLY

The Cord prayer rally earlier scheduled for
Sunday, June, 19, in Machakos town has been
postponed.
The meeting will now take place on Sunday,
June 26 at the same venue.

The move is aimed at giving MPs detained for
four days at Pangani and Muthaiga police
stations have enough rest.
“ The rally was meant for me but I needed
time to rest. I feel tired, exhausted and
cannot manage to attend it,” Muthama told
the Star on phone.
The rally was scheduled to take place in
Machakos town for the political prisoners.

Area governor Alfred Mutua had given permit
for the meeting.
On Saturday, June 18, Mutua has issued the
CORD coalition early warnings against
importing violence into the Masaku.
In a statement sent to newsrooms on Friday,
June 17, Mutua asked the organizers of the
rally and their followers maintain peace.
“We have 500 functioning CCTV cameras as
well as a rapid response unit to protect the
property and lives of our people. We will not
allow any hooliganism of any kind,” said
Mutua as quoted in the Star.

Though it was expected to be prayer rally,
politics was expected to take centre stage.
The prayer meeting was meant to address
suppression of freedom of expression
following the arrest of the eight MPs over
alleged hate speech.

RAILA IS IN NO NEED OF ABABU NAMWAMBA

The Orange Democratic Movement
(ODM) party has dared Budalangi member of
Parliament Ababu Namwamba to ditch the
party for Jubilee.
ODM Nakuru County chairman, Peter Ole Osono
said that Ababu will be finished politically if he
ditches Raila Odinga, the man who moulded
him politically.
Osono said that Ababu is who he is because of
Raila and ditching his political god-father is like
digging his political grave.
Speaking Sunday in Nakuru, Osono said that
Ababu needs ODM and Raila more that ODM
and Raila need him.

"People are saying that ODM will be dealt a
blow should Ababu decamp but we want to tell
them that Raila is the one who moulded Ababu
politically and if he decamps and ditches Raila,
that will be the beginning of his end in Kenya's
politics," he said.
"We dare him to decamp if he is a real man,"
charged Osono.
Osono added that ODM is not moved by
Ababu's expected move to Jubilee, saying that
the party will get his replacement in record
time.
Ababu currently serves as the ODM Secretary
General.

RUTO SHOULD STOP ATTACKING OPPOSITION

A Jubilee member of Parliament has
pleaded with deputy President William Ruto to
stop demeaning the opposition and talking ill of
them in every forum he attends.
Emurua Dikir MP, Johanna Nge'no said it is
wrong for Ruto to be attacking the opposition
every time he opens his mouth, saying that it
jeopardises efforts of uniting the nation.
Nge'no called on Ruto to focus on telling
Kenyans what Jubilee has done so far and let
the opposition be.
Speaking Sunday in Kuresoi, Nge'no said that it
is ironic for Ruto to continue doing things he
bashes the opposition for.
"I always wonder why the DP must continue
attacking the opposition everywhere he goes.
Instead of telling Kenyans what the
government has done, he is busy attacking
CORD and its leadership," said Nge'no.

"By always attacking the opposition, the DP is
no different from them because he is doing the
same things he wants the opposition to stop
doing," he said.
The legislator said Ruto does not have to
always answer the opposition.
"It is not necessary for Ruto to be answering
the opposition anytime they speak or do
something. The best way is for him to keep
quiet and let his lieutenants do that job. The
DP should use his time to talk about more
important issues instead of fighting CORD," he
said.
"This habit of demeaning the opposition when
all they are doing is their work will one day
work against him and I pray he desist from it
before its too late," said Nge'no.

UHURUTO DISOWNS MOSES KURIA

President Uhuru Kenyatta says that
hate speech mongers, even those within his
own Jubilee Coalition must be punished for
their utterances.
The President, who is currently in Belgium, is
said to have told Coalition leadership not to
show solidarity with the hate speech mongers
so as not to give out a bad impression to
Kenyans.
He says that the fact that the leaders in court
have been charged fir genuine offences means
that they are on their own.
" The President has been clear that the Jubilee
leaders in court must defend themselves on
their own,"
The President is said to have been angered by
the Jubilee leaders Kuria, Kimani Ngunjiri of
Bahati and Ferdinand Waititu of Kabete for
spoiling the name of the Coalition.
" If the President is seen to defend hate
speech mongers then a very bad message will
be sent to Kenyans," the source added.
The MPs, as well as five others from the CORD
Coalition are in court seeking bail after
spending the last four days in Police custody.

UHURU/RUTO GOVERNMENT DECLARES WAR ON HATE MONGERS

ethnically charged hate speech by
politicians that has seen eight of them
arrested.
Kaparo noted that the Government has
assigned prosecution counsels to deal
with specific individuals engaging in
hate remarks.
Besides, a number of officers from the
Directorate of Criminal Investigations
have also been assigned to monitor such
utterances.
At the same time, the NCIC boss
revealed that it has acquired 800 police
officers to assist in the fight against
hate-mongers.

MIKE SONKO SPEAKS AFTER FIGHT WITH KIDERO

Nairobi county leaders Mike Sonko and Evans
Kidero have separately spoken after they
exchanged blows before a senate public
accounts committee.
As reported early by kenyanupdate.blogspot.co.ke, the senator
and the governor engage in a physical fight
that saw the meeting ended abruptly.
The fight started as a verbal exchange
between the two and got worse when Sonko
accused Kidero of murder.
The two leaders rose against each other,
going physical and exchanging blows before
they were separated and Sonko escorted out
of the building.
In a video captured, Sonko is seen sending a
heavy slap towards Kidero and the sound of
its landing could be heard. It is not clear if
the slap landed on Kidero.
And after the altercation, the two nemesis
have spoken about the incident.

Sonko told journalists gathered outside that
Kidero confronted him before other senators
who were sitting in the committee and
threatened to beat him up when he questioned
him.
“The governor came and intervened saying
you know I can punch this guy. He said he
can punch me in front of Senators Khalwale,
Amos Wako and the chair of the committee.
So he wanted to punch me so that he can
block me from adducing this evidence,”
Sonko said.
Asked whether Kidero hit him, Sonko denied
saying he managed to block the governor’s
hand before it could land on him.
Speaking separately after the incident, Kidero
dismissed rumours that he is headed for
hospital after being hit by the senator.
The governor said that the punch by Sonko
did not land on him and that he is fine.
Sonko sits in the committee as a member and
it is believed Kidero had been summoned to
answer to the alleged misuse of public funds.
It can be remembered that Sonko and Kidero
have had verbal exchanges before. Sonko is
also eyeing the Nairobi gubernatorial seat
currently held by Kidero.
Sonko has accused Kidero of corruption
before while Kidero has returned a tantrum by
labeling the senator a drug peddler.
It can also be remembered that Kidero had a
physical altercation with Nairobi county
Women Representative Racheal Shebesh
where he slapped her hard.

Shebesh had stormed Kidero’s office
accompanied by disgruntled workers
demanding answers from the governor.
It was alleged that Shebesh hit Kidero below
the belt, prompting the governor to unleash a
powerful slap that sent the legislator going
wild.

POLICE DENY RAILA ACCESS TO SEE ARRESTED MPS

Police denied CORD leader Raila
Odinga the chance to see detained CORD
politicians in remand.
Raila was turned away as he attempted to see
Suna East MP Junet Mohammed as well as
other CORD politicians currently in remand over
hate speech allegations.
Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama and MPs
Mohamed, Timothy Bosire of Kitutu Masaba,
Florence Mutua who is the Busia woman
representative and Aisha Jumwa the Kilifi
woman representative were held at various
Police stations in Nairobi while they await
Police investigations over the hate speech
claims.
Raila's attempt to see them was futile as he
was told they were out of bounds.
" We have been turned away," Siaya Senator
James Orengo told News24.
They have been remanded four days while
Police hold investigations over the hate speech
claims.
They were arrested and arraigned in court
Tuesday over claims of inciting Kenyans
against each other.
They have so far filed a complaint in court to
have their bond applications fast tracked so as
to see them leave the cells as soon as
possible.

NO ELECTIONS FOR HATE MONGERS- NCIC

National Cohesion and
Integration Commission (NCIC) wants
politicians who propagate hate speech barred
from contesting for political seats in the next
election.
The commission also wants those implicated
with hate speech charges bailed by the Judicial
Service Commission (JSC) in a bid to curb the
alarming rate of hate mongering in the country.
NCIC commissioners led by Joseph Nasongo
and Dr. Roba Sharamo said in Mombasa
Tuesday that failure to take action against
politicians who make inflammatory remarks
might plunge the country into chaos.
The commissioners called on National
Assembly to amend the Constitution to grand
the Independent Electoral and Boundaries
commission (IEBC) more powers lock out
rogue politicians who are implicated with public
incitement and hate speech.

“We have laws that govern all the processes
but there is need for a clear law. We ask the
Parliament to make amendments to the
electoral laws to ensure those who are
implicated are barred from contesting,” said
Nasongo.
The commission also proposes that politicians
who are eyeing various political seats ahead of
the polls acquire a social cohesion certificate
as an identity of integrity, adding that it has
become the norm to politicians to propagate
hate speech in the guise of looking for votes.
He said the commission had completed its
investigations into alleged hate speech by
some politicians and had forwarded the files to
the Director of Public Prosecutions but was
concerned by the slow pace at whichJudiciary
was handling the cases.
Addressing a press conference at the
Mombasa County Commissioner's office, the
commissioners were however alarmed by the
rate at which hate speech was spreading on
social media, adding that thorough
investigations are ongoing to arrest more
suspects.
“Already, 16 cases are ongoing at different
levels. There are also lower level on social
media and we have noticed that some of the
culprits use anonymous names but we are
working closely with the intelligence to monitor
them,” added Nasongo.
NCIC said it will restrict political parties from
zoning certain areas as their strong holds by
erecting billboards with some political
messages arguing that the move will trigger
ethnic divisions and fear ahead of the next
elections.
“We will not allow political zoning, erecting
billboards and banners with political zoning
messages will contribute to ethnic divisions
and this is something the commission is
discouraging, as a commission we are working
with relevant government authorities to ensure
cohesion,” said Sharamo.
However the officials cited numerous
challenges including the disconnect between
the office of director of public prosecutions
Keriako Tobiko, the office of inspector general
Joseph Boinet and the National cohesion and
the judicial service commission JSC as barriers
towards prosecuting hate mongers.
The judiciary has been accused of derailing
efforts to prosecute hate mongers by the fact
that most of the suspects are granted bonds
to walk Scot free even after committing serious
offenses amounting to imprisonment.

MOSES KURIA AND MPS SPEND NIGHT IN CUSTODY

Gatundu south MP Moses Kuria,
Kabete MP Ferdinand Waititu, Machakos
Senator Johnstone Muthama and Suna East
MP Junet Mohamed spent the night in police
cells.
The four are facing charges of spreading hate
speech in separate gatherings on Sunday and
Monday.
Kuria was caught on camera Sunday telling a
gathering in Kasarani stadium that the
opposition leader Raila Odinga should be
assassinated.

Mohamed spewed hate while responding to
Kuria’s remarks at an ODM press briefing on
Monday.
Others who are facing similar charges are
Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri, Kitutu Masaba MP
Timothy Bosire, Busia woman representative
Florence Mutua and Kilifi woman
representative Aisha Jumwa.
The eight were arraigned in court Tuesday but
did not take pleas because the charge sheets
were not ready

GOVERNOR DENIES LEADING HATE CAMPAIGN AGAINST RAIRA

Governor Kinuthia Mbugua has denied
spearheading any hate campaign against
CORD leader Raila Odinga and his supporters
in Nakuru County.
He defended his decision to ban anti-IEBC
protests in the region claiming such
demonstration might ignite ethnic tensions
among residents ahead of the next General
Election.
"Nakuru has in the past suffered due to
political competition. We have, however,
resolved as a county to make peace with
ourselves. Anti-IEBC protests will not be
allowed in Nakuru because the issue CORD
has is with the IEBC commissioners and they
do not sit in Nakuru," Mr Mbugua said
yesterday in a statement.
Speaking only a few days after a group of
youths attempted to stop Raila's meeting in
the county, the governor said the former
prime minister was welcomed in the county as
long as he does not hold what he described as
"tribal meetings".
ODM MPs led by Suna East legislator Junet
Mohamed have accused the governor of being
behind hate campaign against Raila and party
supporters in the county.

NAIROBI SENATOR, MIKE SONKO SPEAKS ABOUT MOSES KURIA. READ

There is a serious storm brewing over
utterances linking Kuria to the killing of Raila,
which he made during a rally in his Gatundu
South constituency over the weekend.
The aftermath has seen 7 leaders from across
the divide arrested for alleged hate speech and
Sonko says that no leader should incite
Kenyans against each other.
" We are trying to build a peaceful nation and
utterances from leaders which seek to break
that should be punished," he said.
He also asked Kenyans not to be swayed into
Political talk as it would not be of help to their
lives since the country belongs to them.
" The country belongs to Kenya. By purporting
to fight each other, we destroy the same
country we love and live in," he added.
Kuria has already recorded a statement on the
utterances at CID headquarters as have other
leaders who have been picked up by CID
officers this morning.

MARTHA KARUA ON UHURU,RAILA AND HATE SPEECH

Narc Kenya
chairperson, Martha Karua, has for
once admitted that the fathers of hate
speech and ethnic mongering are none
other than CORD leader, Raila Odinga,
and Jubilee leader, Uhuru Kenyatta and
not their foot soldiers.
Sharing her views via social media on
Monday evening, Martha said the
political leaders need to reign in their
troops who spew hate at every turn and
are as a result heightening levels of
intolerance.
Martha said both CORD and Jubilee
lieutenants have been spewing hatred
and urged law enforcers to arrest them
and put them to where they will not
spew hatred.
When asked whether CORD leaders
preache hate against the Kikuyu
community, Karua said only a deaf person who doesn’t hear what
CORD leaders say about the Kikuyu
community and vice versa.

RIOTS IN KIBERA PROTESTING CORD MPS ARREST

Riots have rocked parts of Kibera, Nairobi
after arrests of several politicians from the
Coalition of Reforms and Democracy (CORD).
The riots that had started as isolated
incidents on Monday night, June 13, continued
on Tuesday after the arrests of the opposition
leaders.

Some of the demonstrators in Kibera blocked
roads especially Kibera drive at Makina.
The demonstrators who burnt tires and
mounted barricades also called on the arrest
of Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria.
Riots in Kibera after arrest of CORD
politicians on Tuesday, June 14.
The demonstrations in the area forced some
schools and businesses to be closed.

NAIROBI UNIVERSITY STUDENTS RIOT OVER BABU OWINO ARREST

Students of the University of Nairobi
have hit the streets after student leader Babu
Owino was arrested by Police.
The students have blocked a number of city
roads while heading to the Kilimani Police
Station where Owino is currently being held.
Motorists were seen avoiding roads in and
around the Kilimani area in fear of the students
causing damage.
Owino was arrested for alleged hate speech
after inferring that Gatundu South MP Moses
Kuria should leave CORD leader Raila Odinga
alone.
Kuria recently hit the news for stating that
Raila should be assasinated.
Owino though was not to be left behind.
" Someone tell Moses Kuria that Raila Odinga
is not his mother's boyfriend," he is quoted as
saying on his charge sheet.
He is set to be arraigned in court this
afternoon over the charges.

MOSES KURIA IS UNTOUCHABLE

Efforts to jail Gatundu South MP
Moses Kuria over hate speech are a waste of
time, a Jubilee MP says.
Kuria, who is under-fire over comments
attributed to him calling for the killing of CORD
leader Raila Odinga has been taken in for
questioning by the CID over the comments.
However, a Jubilee MP believes that the arrest
is only there to mask the fact that Kuria is
more or less untouchable.
The Central Kenya MP, who asked not to be
named thanks to the veracity of the comments
says that Kuria is a favourite of President
Uhuru Kenyatta's and that no one will touch
him.
" No one can touch Kuria whether they like it
or not because he is a favourite of the
President," the MP complained to News24.
The MP insisted that Kuria's comments are
uncalled for and that he must be punished but
that it will never happen.
" He must be punished for his comments but I
can bet you that he will not. It is not the first
time he has been in court. You wait and see,"
the MP added.
Kuria wrote a statement at the CID
headquarters in Nairobi Monday and it remains
to be seen what action Police will take over
the matter.

ABABU NAMWAMBA VOWS TO WORK WITH JUBILEE

Budalang’i MP,
Ababu Namwamba, has said that he will
continue working with the Jubilee
Government despite being the Secretary
General of Orange Democratic
Movement (ODM).
In an interview with Citizen TV on
Tuesday, Namwamba said he has
realised that for leaders to initiate
development in their areas, they must
be mature and sober.
Namwamba also denied allegations that
he is a Jubilee mole saying this
conclusion cannot be drawn simply
because he sat with leaders of the ruling
coalition to discuss development.
Namwamba further said not all projects and ideas from
members were allowed to thrive.
"I acknowledge the challenges I
continue to face but I am no slave. It is
mature politics to engage rivals at
times,” he said
"How many times have I seen CORD
leader Raila Odinga with the president.
Has he been branded a mole?” he
posed.
Regarding his long absence from the
public, the MP said even great generals
take some time off the war. He said he
has not changed contrary to public
speculation.
"Ababu has not changed, he has just
matured and become better. He is more
focused. The fire in the belly of Ababu
still burns deep within the political
arena,” he said.
