Nairobi - CORD leader Raila Odinga has told DP
William Ruto to support his bid for the
Presidency in 2017, so Ruto gets his support
come the 2022 polls.
The CORD leader says that Ruto will need his
support come 2022 because the Kikuyu will not
support his bid for the Presidency once
President Uhuru Kenyatta is out of the picture.
He added that the DP will be served better to
support him as he is not interested in the
Presidency at the moment.
" I have no issue with the DP. However, as
some leaders from Central Kenya have already
told him, he will find it hard come 2022
because they will not vote for him," he said
Monday.
The DP has been told by Kiambu Governor
William Kabogo that he will have no guarantee
that the Kikuyu vote will be his come 2022.
And Raila has turned the screw once again.
" We all know what will happen come 2022 and
the DP being a bright man knows too. The time
is now to guarantee my support ahead," he
added.
The DP is already on record as saying he is
behind President Uhuru Kenyatta come the
2017 polls.
