UHURUTO DISOWNS MOSES KURIA

President Uhuru Kenyatta says that
hate speech mongers, even those within his
own Jubilee Coalition must be punished for
their utterances.
The President, who is currently in Belgium, is
said to have told Coalition leadership not to
show solidarity with the hate speech mongers
so as not to give out a bad impression to
Kenyans.
He says that the fact that the leaders in court
have been charged fir genuine offences means
that they are on their own.
" The President has been clear that the Jubilee
leaders in court must defend themselves on
their own,"
The President is said to have been angered by
the Jubilee leaders Kuria, Kimani Ngunjiri of
Bahati and Ferdinand Waititu of Kabete for
spoiling the name of the Coalition.
" If the President is seen to defend hate
speech mongers then a very bad message will
be sent to Kenyans," the source added.
The MPs, as well as five others from the CORD
Coalition are in court seeking bail after
spending the last four days in Police custody.
